MEMBERSHIP
Overview
We welcome all academics, postgraduates, undergraduates and teachers – whether based in the UK or beyond – who have a research or teaching interest in parliament or in areas linked to parliament. Membership is also open to practitioners working in or with parliamentary institutions at a national, sub-national or supra-national level.

Academics (including postgraduates)
Membership of all PSA specialist groups is managed centrally through the PSA. You should request to join our Parliaments group online through the PSA website. Simply log in to the PSA website (your PSA Membership Card has the log in details), go to the ‘My Membership’ section and select the ‘My Group’ tab. Here you can request membership to any specialist group.
If you are not already a PSA Member, you can find more information on how to join here. The PSA offers different membership rates based upon salary and career stage, so please ensure you select the right rate.
Practitioners & Teachers
The UK Political Studies Association offers ‘public’ and ‘school’ membership rates, which are beneficial for non-academic professionals engaged with political, international relations, research or policy making. They wlecome anyone with an interest in politics, including politicians, civil servants, journalists, think tankers or third sector workers (amongst others!). Undergraduates
The PSA offers Student Membership for students aged 16-19, undergraduate and masters students for a fee of £10. You can find out more information here.
